Anyone else have this problem?  I have one click (the 9th) on my LMT elevation wheel that is extremely coarse and seems to re-angle the sight assembly to a significant degree.  Anyone know what might be causing this?

It's not.  I've done a full disassembly and there appears to be no obvious cause for it.  Any thoughts?

Yep.  My thought was that there may be a burr or some rough machining causing the problem, but it looks clean.  Assembling everything without the springs, the sight works fine with no "hiccup" on click #9.

The problem doesn't occur when assembling the sight without the elevation spring alone; it also doesn't occur when only the rear sight spring (providing counterclockwise tension for the sight) is removed.  It seems it needs the combination of both upward tension and counterclockwise tension for the problem to manifest itself.  I've changed the springs, it's not that.
