Same problem here. I relieved the magwell so I could use my pmags. Alumablack or paint takes care of the rest.

I had a issue with a A2 buffer in the one I had. I just wasnt happy with the fit of the lower and ended up selling.

You will find more that report having issues with this lower than not... I also have one.  Although functions, it is noticeable the mags are loose while seated in the well.  Also I had to swap out bolt latch before I could get ALL mags to work.  Odd, but worked.  I have to say it is the last of all my ARs that I would grab in the event my life depended on it.  Just don't have that feel of security, functioning or not.

The only issue I have had with my lower is that I had to change out my rear detent pin to get a S&W 5.45 upper to fit. It is way tight. However when I put a JSE Surplus 5.56 upper on it, then I had no issues. It became part of my cheapy dissipator upper build. T
