About 1 year ago bought a RRA NM 2 stage trigger and installed it in my RRA lower.  After about 2000 rounds the 2nd stage went away and the trigger is now a very light single stage with a lot of take up.  I took it out and cleaned and relubed and it did not help.  Any ideas on how to fix?  Is it safe?

Did you stone it " Adjust it " when you installed it ? If you did you took to much off.
To fix it remove the disconnector and file off the face where it hits the trigger part. This will bring the disconnector forward and allow it to contact the hammer ( increasing sear engagement ) giving you a second stage again; shoot it or excersise it before you stone adjust it again ..

I did not stone adjust the trigger.  I just put it in and shot it.
