Where did you see it?

Back in July, I emailed RRA and they said that at the time, they had no plans to do this, but that they were open to see if the market was there.

Try this for 6.8 info.

Where did you see a RRA 6.8? I made one with RRA upper and lower, Model 1 Sales barrel, bolt and FF tube with DPMS guts. However I don't know of any true RRA 6.8's.

Shoes, its good to see you here. I usually only see you over at the hide. I just bought a 6.8 and got Hornady dies from Midway for $25.00. The only maker for brass that I have seen has been Remington but what new brass was out there is now gone and nobody knows for sure when more will be out. As for bullets I used Hornady 270cal 100grn V-Max and shot 3/8" groups with it yesterday with my Mk12 Mod1.

River Rat, you really need to bring that 6.8 down and let me put some rounds through it!

Robert

I might be persuaded to do that. Check your site's mail.

Yo, Lawman,.
Good to be welcomed here......

Thanks.......

Thanks all for,the info....

This was a 20" tube, with 2 new style mags, and ONE box of ammo........
RRA Lower, didn't notice nay markings on the barrel.....
IF it had of been sold BY RRA, I would have snagged it.
I figure it's a parts gun, and M1Sales, and me go a long way back....when they had another name..that will go nameless, for obvious reasons.

My understanding is that the barrels and bolts M1S are using for the 6.8 arent that bad. If the rest of the rifle was made using RRA stuff, then it probably was pretty good, then again, who knows what the rest of the rifle was made up from. If you want to build one, I bought my barrel (SPR contour) and matched bolt from John Holliger w/ White Oak Armament for $345 and the rest is Knights and RRA.
