I've got a Bushy 20" flat top. Bought the #22 A.R.M.S. mounts with the 1" adaptors and mounted my scope. I've got the scope mounted as far forward as possible but it still should go ahead about another inch or so for proper eye relief.
I've got a YHM two-piece handguard on it and I'm wondering if I'd be able to attach the YHM 7" carbine rail riser to the flat top and then the rings to the riser thus giving me the extra room to move the scope forward. This will raise the scope another 1/2" which will work out for me. I'm wondering if this set up will work for what I'm trying to do (give me extra room to move the scope mounts further forward).
Will having this set up like this negate the ability to take off the scope and riser and have it still retain zero? I was thinking about the 11.25" rifle length riser but I'm concerned about the front of it being clamped to the two piece handguard and it's lack of stability.
Any thoughts and/or advise?

I would just buy a 38 extended, not the super extended just extended. It will raise the optic 1/2", with the 22s you will have repeat RTZ. The other riser may work but I've never played with it. Ask one of the dealers that sell it.
