Hey guys,

I just purchased a Leupold long range target scope and I need some good 30mm rings.  I thought that Weaver rings would fit an AR-15 on my flattop, but they appear to be too narrow.  All the rings I have seen specifcally for ARs are like $100.  I am just looking under the wrong descriptions or are 30mm rings for ARs just damn expensive?  Are there any good alternatives out there?

Thanks in advance.
Craig

I notice that the Warner rings are coupled at the verticle rather than the horizontal axis.  Besides asthetics, do you find this makes any difference?
