Should I do it?  If so, will an "H" buffer work just fine if I put a rifle length upper on a carbine receiver?  I was thinking about putting a BCM 20" upper on one of my 6920 carbine lowers.  What do you guys think?  Pics of that kind of set up would be nice if you have them

I gotta go to bed right now......my graveyard shift starts in 6 hours  Thank you all in advance and sorry I wouldn't be able to reply until tomorrow.

Thanks again!

That special set-up looks great, but the rifle will run fine on the carbine lower.

Replaced the A2 stock on my SDMR with a SOPMOD when I was in Iraq in 05-06, no problems, much preferred the adjustable LOP.

have one in the safe right now.  its a bushy a1 upper with 20" hbar on a bushy lower with vltor imod. . . other than being nose heavy, it shoots like a dream.  i see no problem with it, although mine will soon be a dissipator.

All the pictures in the link I provided didn't give you an idea of what it would look like?
