Can anyone tell me what the M2 above the date code stands for?

I picked up 10 more at a gun show today for $9. ea all but one has M3 or M4 in that position.

The M2 mag will not drop free from the 10 lowers i checked 2 of which are colt.

Just wondering if it's an identifying mark I can stay away from when i find deals in person.

I'm not bitching i've bought pmags on 15~ separate occasions this is the first one i've got that had any issue....

Mold number or mold position number in a gang Mold.
My guess is mold number and the circle embossed number indicates position in the mold.
So if I am correct you have a mag made using
Mold number 2, position 9 on whatever month/day stamp is below those 2 markings

Also the PMAG MAGLEVEL with windows, the windows are slightly bigger, taller and wider, plus 5, 15, and 25 round markings was added next to the windows.
