I am trying hard to resist the 6920. I have a Colt 6400C and converted it with the correct parts to make it a 6920 clone. But I can't help but look for the best deal on one.
I tried the 12 step program and failed. Let's see how long I can hold out............... I think maybe until November? Max |
Damn I came here for support
Max I am still fighting the feeling. |
"F" November. Get one today. Resistance is futal.
P.S. Turn your Colt 6400C back to the original configuration. You'll be a better person for it. Colt_SBR |

Dude, look where you came for help.
That's like attending an AA meeting at a liquor store..... |
Nothing. She is did not stick around after my first tour in Iraq. So just a single guy.

And you have to think about this why? Life is short, get that Colt. My only issue, after I bought & shot my LE6920, was why the hell didn't I do this sooner. |

You got "Dear Johned" whilst in a Combat Zone.....YOU DESERVE A 6920!!!!! BUY NOW and for a limited time only get a free cup of Colt Kool Aid!!!!!
Do it. Do it..... DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! |
Please don't buy a 6920. The fewer people that buy them, the more supply catches up with demand, and the more prices drop for me to buy another.
Resistance is futile.
All your 6920's belong to us! ___________ PS check your IM re: finding you a lower |
What is it about the 6400 that doesn't meet your M4 needs? Or is it just you want to join the 6920 hayride? Seriously curious.
I heard Colt's blow up a lot, but a guy at a gun shop told me they were mil-spec.
maxell27,
You might want to check out Knesek Guns, they were my source (through a local dealer) and they have great prices plus they are great to deal with. CJan_NH recommended them to me, and he was right, they are very good. I'm hoping to get an AR6721 (AR15A3) from them next, after I finish equipping the 6920 I just acquired. Anyway, good luck with your decision. _DR |

If you have nothing serious to add why post in a technical forum? You think this is a game? Go play in GD. Grow up. |
life is short please don't say that! |
Well it is if you're my age |
And how does this thread have to do with a technical discussion? |
I like Colt just as much as other members on this board but these 5 times a day 6920 threads are getting very annoying.
So you had to crash the thread, just because YOU found it annoying? That's exactly my point. If you find it annoying, look somewhere else. |
And how does this thread have to do with a technical discussion? |
Just remember, Colt is the GI issue brand, so therefore your Colt's are made by the lowest bidder. |
Almost got a 6721 at a show last weekend -- the price was about what Knesek is asking. It looked very nice for the most part, but it was drenched in lube, missing its box, and nobody at the table could tell me whether it was new or used (!). "Uh, we just sell this stuff..." Other than all the lube, it did look very clean, but I wasn't prepared to pay over $1100 for something even the seller was not sure about... |
Can't say I blame you. Swapped out parts is not unknown for gun show rifles that aren't obviously NIB. |

Max, just give in. I just picked one up from Kesselring's in Burlington, WA for $1099 (LawEnforcementOfficer Price). Here's a pic of her put together with all the goods on.
I have shot about 500 rounds through it and qualified with it last night. It is frighteningly accurate! http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b42/bobafett126/gunporn1.jpg |

Fine. I lose. I am now looking for a 6920. Anyone knows where I can find one at 1100 bucks or less?

That pair of P7s is sweet. |
Yarddog! What are you doing, showing him HK P7s! You're like the pusher man on the corner, trying to get the local addict to step up to the next drug. If you like the pot I sold you, wait til you try this smack!!!

Are those the German cocksqueezer staple guns I've heard so much about? |
The funny thing is, you are debating getting just one... why not get two. That way you can mod one out with tactical goodies and the other one you can leave stock.
LOL....Okay hold up, hold up! Thats going too far, remember, "baby steps". He buys two and thats one less for me. LOL Seriously tho....I guess two wouldn't hurt. (sequential serial numbers???) OOOOOHHHH. came to the wrong place for advice bout this maxell27! LOL |
