When you go to drive the roll pin out, make sure to back up the rear ear!!!!
More ears have been cracked off by guys trying to drive the pin out without backing up the ear (read just rest the receiver on the side and leaving a gap between the ear and the table) that anyone would care to say. |

The idea behind the standard trigger guard is that you can use a bullet tip to drop it for use with mittens.
I've got some thin rolls of electrical tape that are perfect for resting the read trigger guard ear on while still letting the pin drop through. Just make sure the ear is supported, as noted above, so it doesn't break off. |
