I would like to remove the nut to install a sling adapter. It is a Colt, the nut is staked and has two round holes on either side for the tool. What tool do I need and how do get it off with it being staked with out too much damage or am I S.OL.?

Does any one know where I can find a sling plate that is left hand with a HK style loop?

Thanks

when you take it off there will be a spring and detent for the satety, make sure you do not lose, or bend spring when you put it back on
try www.yhm.net
www.bushmaster.com
GG&G
or the Euqipment Exchange on the site.
and many others

the sling plater will run from between 7.00 to 30.00 depending on who and what you get.
