Its cheaper than walmart (here) has it anymore.  Its an okay price.  The brass is better than the ammo, overall.

That's a good price.  Wal-mart's price is $6.44 normally.  If you have a Rural King around you(I don't know how widespread they are) they have them for $5.29 a box for the 55mc and I want to say $7.20 for the jhp.

Its new factory Remington ammo.  Yes, the brass is excellent to reload, I prefer it over Win and Fed brass.

$5.79 is a real decent price these days for cash and carry.  We have a store in Oregon called Bi-Mart.  I always try to beat their ammo prices.  It can hardly ever be done.  Across the board.  Their everyday price just went up to $6.49 for the Remington 55gr FMJ. Used to be $5.00.  On sale it was $3.99.  Not any more.  The sales price is $5.00. In my opinion anything under $6.49 for a box of 20 is a good deal (assuming it is reloadable).   The Reminton stuff is great brass to reload.

I can pickup xm193 for 6.50 a box at my buddy's gun shop, thats his everyday price.  Its just very hard for me to purchase remington ammo for .06 less a box.

If I could get it for $4-5 a box, I'd buy cases of it at a time

You should ask the vendor to buy you at least a drink for giving it to you that badly.
