Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Red dot scope help

I have an A2 model Bushmaster.  I am toying with putting a red dot scope on it.  Are there any suggestions about them.  Also I am not looking to be real expensive yet as this will determine if I want to keep it on there, in which case I will re-purchase a better one after I determine if I like it or not.

Plenty of suggestions TACKED to the top of this forum..., reviews of cheap red-dots compared to Aimpoints and EoTechs etc....

Have ya read those threads yet?

If you are wanting a cheap red dot to try out to see if you like red dots, and plan on upgrading in the future, I would suggest the cheapest you can find. Something like this.

For something that will be dependable I would recommend either Aimpoint or Eotech.
