Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Receiver question from new guy

Hi all. I have been shooting all my life, but just got my first AR, a Bushmaster M4A2. Question... between the upper and lower receivers there seems to be some play, not really sloppy, just like an 1/8 inch of back and forth play. Is this normal? Is there anything that can be done to tighten the play up? I didn't notice the play when I first got it.

A little play is normal, but you can install a accuwedge if it really bother you.
