Will a standard Magpul m93 or ctr stock fit the buffer tube on my rifle?
Are the DPMS buffer tubes on the 7.62 the same as on the 5.56 vesions?
thanks for any help

those stocks will fit on a carbine buffer tube, if that is what you have.  use your buffer and spring.  only the prs has a .308 version because of the adj cheekpiece.

The Magpul has its own buffer tube. That tube (receiver extension) will fit on a DPMS 308 lower. The current CTR stock will not fit on the factory DPMS 308 carbine tube, because it is commercial diameter. Magpul has stated plans to produce a CTR stock that will fit commercial tubes, but they are not available yet. The DPMS 7.62 carbine tube is their standard 5.56 tube.

If you want to put a current CTR stock, or a LMT SOPMOD or Vltor, on a DPMS 308 AP4, you will need to replace the receiver extension with a mil-spec diameter tube, such as a Colt, LMT or Vltor. You can use the DPMS buffer and spring, though.
