Got to break in my new build today. (M&A 16" upper, Stag lower) Put 5 rounds through it at the smith in his trap to ensure function yesterday. Today I put 60 rounds of cheap brass cased Monarch and it functioned flawlessly. 60 rounds federal bulk and again flawless, 20 rounds of Wolf that my friends DPMS hates, and it ate it up without a hiccup. I would have target pics with the groups, but I didnt quite get it centered yet. Its good side to side , but my groups are still low, im going to wait until I get a longer range to really zero it in.
They were tight enough for 25 yards and kneeling unsupported that I have no worries.

The first pic is just gun pron from our weapons of the day, the second is my buddy who couldnt resist clamping his scope to my new AR to see what he could dohttp://johnnaas.com/Gallery/albums/johns-toys/Aug_12_2007_012_Large.sized.jpg

I believe that is a 700, its a 270 that belongs to my nephew. There is lots of cleaning to do this week on every gun except the Kimber Warrior. My buddy finally learned that if you bring a gun with a gun lock, you better bring the keys to it. My offer to "shoot the lock off" didnt go anywhere.

What kind of scope is that he mounted on your AR?

Its a NC Star with illuminated reticle that he got real cheap at a gun show.
