I asked this the other day, and can't even find where I asked, so I apologize in advance if this has already been answered.

Are oly bolts already ramped? I looked at mine last night, it APPEARS to be ramped, i.e where the bolt contacts the hammer as it travels rearward, there is some taper to the bolt.

or does 'ramped' refer to a more pronounced version of the aforementioned taper?

You are correct.  The Oly Arms bolt carriers are already ramped.  Colt did not ramp their carriers, so it is the Colt carriers that need to be ramped if you are getting trigger slap.  Oly Arms have never had the problem with trigger slap.
