Okay guys im will be ordering my first gun sometime in the near future. I know i want the tactical car A4 but i dont know if i want the entry version or not. Basically i guess what im asking is... is there any difference between the R4 barrel or the standard barrel? Any input would be a great help!

Thanks guys
Matt

You don't need the "M4" barrel on the entry tactical.  For looks only unless you have a grenade launcher.

No difference.

Go with what you prefer.

The only difference is the R4 barrel has the notch in the barrel in front of the front sight for attaching an M203 launcher.  The standard does not.  Both are heavy under the handguards.

It's a matter of what you like, really.  I think the R4 might actually have more "barrel whip" that might slightly decrease accuracy, but that's pretty much conjecture on my part, and you won't notice the difference anyway.

I have an M4 profile barrel and have never had a problem with accuracy out of it. I think in this case it does come down to what you like because it is just a visual difference and will not matter in the long run. Get the one you like the best.
