I've been seeing quite a few RRA ARs around town and at shows lately with fake supressor uppers. Usually, these guns have a painted camo finish and an ACE-style stock on them. I've been considering building an AR for my brother's wedding gift(hehe- the wife will love that!), and thought this upper would be unique.

I haven't seen an upper set up like this at any of our normal vendors. Have any of you seen this and know where I can find them? I'm not at all interested in the camo finishes, just looking for the upper with the big fake can on it. Is this an RRA setup, or am I just always seeing it on a RRA lower?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I think you have just been seeing people build these on RRA lowers. I have never seen a fake suppressor being offered on a RRA factory gun or from any of their more popular venodrs either.

Thanks, that's what I figured....

I'm not into that "look" much but wanted to put this together for my brother.

I'm trying to find a picture for you guys, but have been unsuccessful. The fake can is large-diameter and the barrel is flush with the end of it. Anyone seen what I speak of?

Thanks again....
