Simple question: will an LMT upper reciever mate properly to a Rock River lower?

Yes...it may be tight if the RRA lower is new, but it will fit.  I've had Bushmaster, RRA, LMT, and Colt uppers on my RRA lower.

What do you mean by tight??? Do you really have to shove them together to fit???

When my RRA lower was new, I had to use a rubber mallet to seat the rear takedown lug.  Now every upper goes on just fine.

Is this an accepted practice?  I'm all for a tight fit, but in my (inexperienced) eyes it seems like this could cause damage to the upper, lower, or both.
