Im looking into buying a AR but im a little stuck between the two here. Im debating between getting the RRA tactical a4 or Model 1 sales 6.8 upper with a cmmg lower. I would like to get some suggestions and comments from anyone on this.hug.gif

6.8 is appealing to me..I need to see what cases of 1000 rnds are costing.

The 6.8 gives me a hard on but i was worried about the quality of the firearm and the expence of the ammo.

I like the idea of 6.8 but I have both AR15s and AR10s so I'm not sure I need it.  I'd prefer to see 6.8 more mainstream (with ammo) before taking the plunge.

get the 5.56, if you have to pick just  one. I have a 6.8 from Model 1 sales and really like it. Ammo is almost impossible to though, unless you roll your own. 5.56 ammo is cheaper than chickenhug.gif

Thats the one bad thing about the 6.8mm, Trying to find the ammo is next to impossible, Sportmans guide has been advertising it for the last 6months and still nothing, same goes for Jerrys Sports. I'm not buying an upper conversion until this ammo thing is solved
