I have a RRA 9mm Complete Rifle on order.  I have 3# Jard Triggers in my other AR's that are working out nicely.

I was wondering what my options were for trigger enhancements...my research shows that the 9mm bolt could complicate things with the Jard arrangement.

Ideas/suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Ramp your bolt!
9MM are very dirty, you will get crap all over the FCG, and this might cause problems for your trigger if not kept very clean.
I was using a Bushy A2 Lower with my ASA 9MM upper for awhile, not a problem after I ramped my Bolt.  Now I use a RRA Lower with STD trigger and 6 Pos. stock, still no problems.
Trigger choice is yours, just keep it clean...

JP trigger will work with the Rock River 9mm hammer. I called JP to confirm this.

Thanks for the replies!!

re: 9mm AR Hygene (sp?), understood...I'm fairly "religious" with that anyway, and I enjoy the cleaning process in "the cave".

re: Bolt Ramping, from the Sticky, I got the understanding this was needed for FA but not Semi', did I misunderstand?

re: JP Trigger, I was looking at that...do you use the JP Hammer Spring or the RRA 9mm Hammer Spring?

Thanks,

I would use the JP springs on a 9MM. If you have any questions I suggest you contact them they are good to deal with.

Ramp your bolt!
Look up Joe Blacks site, it explains why!
Very easy to do yourself, I will post my Pictures one of these days...

Sent my bolt to Joe Black (out on Mod back by Fri.). Highly recommended. This is on a 9mm RRA. I also changed the srpings to yellows. Trigger is smooth and light.

i have found that the 9mm will crud itself up way before i finish shooting it. i go through about 500rds at a time and it gets messy in there.

also running the hp yellow springs in my 9mm carbine.
