I dont think Colt does that... Search for refinishing info on this board..

lightmetalscoloring.com ( does Bushmasters annodizing.. or so it is rumored)

When we anodize our rails in type III hardcoat, we can do your upper and lower if you like. We will be doing a batch in the next week or two.

Most anodizers have a minimum charge because they are none too interested in doing 1 or 2 parts.

Not Colt.

Specialized Armament Warehouse (S.A.W.)

Check under Shop Services.

You could have Colt refinish it in, "Colt Blue." Anyone here ever see a blued AR?

i asked colt about this a couple of years ago and i think they wanted $250 for the whole rifle and $125 for either the upper or lower. they ended doing mine for free under warranty because it was a new rifle .

Matt,

There is a small, but growing list of people on this board who I don't bother with anymore. Common decency is lost, and I see no point in dealing with ingrates who exist on this site soley for their own benefit.
