Im thinking of getting a RAS II and putting an Aimpoint on it. My question is what type of Aimpoint mount do I need in order to get good co-witness with backup sights?

If anyone has any pics that they could post it would be GREAT!

I believe the ARMS #22M68 is the only mount you need to mount on the RAS II.  No spacer is needed.

Any low mount will work if you are mounting to the bridge. Aimpoint makes their own, GG&G makes one, Knights makes one and so do ARMS. Most people like the ARMS usnit however. It has the widest base which provides a more sturdy lock up and the quick and easy throw lever mount.

Although it's on an ARMS SIR, here's the mount suggested above, my choice too....

i believe with just the ras system you still need a spacer. i hace same setup but i have a swan sleeve also, and no spacer needed.
check with wes athttp://mstn.biz/
he can answer any questions on this setup and usually has the parts in stock

If your using the above flat-top portion "spacer" is NOT needed, forward portion is same level as flat-top so spacer will be needed if your mounting over the handguard. Or an EOTech will mount there, no mount required, for co-witness.

Corrected post...
