I'm building up a Bushmaster LR-308 with a 16" barrel and mid-length gas system.  I've already put a FDE PRS stock on it, have a Vortex 308 flash hider for it, but now need to get a handguard for it.  I think that I've narrowed it down to the 12 3/4" rifle length PRI GEN III FF or the Troy BattleRail MRF-308 13.8".  I don't plan on hanging much on this; maybe a bipod.  This is the newer bushmaster A3 receiver, so the rail height is lower than a standard railed handguard.  I *think* that Troy makes the rail for the new height receiver, but not 100% sure.  



So, pros/cons to the PRI and Troy handguards above on a 16" barrel?



Does the PRI tan handguard match the Magpul FDE color stock?

Everyone knows Daniel Defense is where it's at for rails.  Even the British know DD is the best.

If the only thing you're going to put on it is a bipod, why not get the jp vtac?  It's lighter than your other choices and with the money you save you can buy a can of spray paint.

If its the NEWER Bushmaster type (that takes DPMS style SR mags).. and not FAL mags...
