Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Questions about cutting down FSB

I've got a standard FSB on a 14.5" upper that I own.  I want remove or cut down the FSB because it's in the way of my meopta meostar on the lower magnification.  What all is involved in cutting it down?  What does it look like when cut down?
