Are pre ban AR-15s legal in CT? I read a list of banned guns, and on the list was the 'Colt AR-15'. Tell me this... Seeing as how the biggest AR-15 manufacturer is in this state, and I've seen postban rifles here, it just don't add up...

Also, are there any ranges in CT ( Near the NY/CT border ) that extend to at least 300 yards or more? What about 600 yards?

I think it means they are banned by name only, which means postbans are legal b/c they are not ar15s.

Thanks. No prebans though... That sucks. At least Joe Lieberman has been trying to get the Colt AR-15 Sporter series rifles off the list.

However, I am glad that postbans are legal. Better a postban AR than no AR...
