Pentagon Light add, currenty published in Jan 06 SWAT, pg 37, probably also in other rags.

It's an M-4 with regular M-4 handguards.  The mount is a picatinny rail that spans the entire length of the HG, but the rail is oriented vertically.  I'm assuming it mounts in some bottom vent holes and then makes a 90 turn to the vertical.  The Pentagon light incorporates an Arms 17S throw lever mount, but I'm assuming that's just the mount, that the rail is a separate deal.  Anyone know who makes such a rail?

GG&G has something similar, but it's much shorter.  Maybe only a couple of slots max.  This photo looks like it would offer 10-12 slots for mounting a light.

MI website does not list anything like this.

Thanks, that's the picture I was referring to.

I asked about this 2-3 months ago, I called the company and was told the picture is staged--the rail just sits there for a pic.

I thought maybe someone has made a rail that was " sandwiched" between the hg's after they were "releived" slightly. Neat idea if that was the case.

That is so lame.

Grant, So, who makes this rail as I described? It would be a great add on to standard hg's-even a short section would be great towards the front. This would keep things rather simple.

The pic in question was staged.  It's a section of, I believe, A.R.M.S. rail, screwed to the side of a Ring's Blue gun that has been painted or photoshopped black.  Since California is an AWB state and the company wasa started after the ban, it's kind of hard to get rifles to show the lights mounted.  However, since I now consult for Pentagon Lights, that problem has been solved.

No comments about my fat thumbs or gut roll in the upcoming catalog, however, will  be allowed!

Took me a while to understand what they were saying anyhow--
