Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question about the serno list

We have a preban Colt in the store with a serno that begins with SP2449**, which obviously is a 6 digit serno.
But the serno list only shows 5 digit sernos!

So, what is the story??

It has a 20" A2 upper on it, with F/S, but no bayo lug, which I know isn't the correct upper for what this serno is closest to.
It's a slab side lower, with the large screws and is under $1400.
Any help is appreciated!!
