Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question about AR15 mags modified for AR-180

Will the AR15 mags that have the extra notch cut into the right side for use in AR180's still work well in the AR15?

I have never used mags that were modified in this way and I was just wondering what if anything that does to the mag operating in the AR.

They'll still work perfectly in the AR.

I converted 5 older USGI mags to work in my AR180. All it entails is adding a small slot in the mag on the opposite side from the slot in normal USGI mags. It in no way interferes with them working in AR15 type guns.
