I am sure this is posted somewhere, but I don't get to spend much time here, and, I am basicly lazy. I have a 7.62 X 39 upper. Can I just change barrels, or does the 6.8 use a different bolt? If so, which one. Thanks
Al
PS. I have 7.62 factory brass in large and small (Remington) primer. This is a 1" or less gun with 150 gr. bullets and the primer does not seem to make any difference under range conditions.
THX again.

The 6.8 uses a different bolt.

Is it a dedicated bolt just for that one loading? What is the difference. Are there any other rounds that use that bolt face? THX

YEA, the 30 Remington

Nothing else in an AR that I'm aware of...

I think the 338 spectre and 357-40 use the same bolt.
