I'm hoping someone here would know the answer to this question.

Which Black Hill Blue loading in .223 is the closest match in terms of ballistic trajectory to the BDC on a Trijicon TA31 ACOG?

I'm currently shooting a Bushy AKA2 with a TA31 ACOG. Using Black Hill Blue, I've cut the size of my groups in half from other factory loads I've been playing with. The BDC of the TA31 mounted on the A2 handle is close to the performance of the M855(2970fps BC=0.304) fired from the 14.5"/16" barrel.

If I wanted to take advantage of the BDC on my TA31 as it is currently setup, which Black Hill .223 offering would be my best choice?

Any and all advice deeply appreciated.

-Frank

I would if I could, but the link to the thread in the Optics Forum is a dead link.

Also, my primary focus is which loading's performance is a close match to the BDC, not adjusting the BDC to match the performance of the round.

Thats an ass backwards approach. Go shoot the most accurate ammo and figure out the corresponding ranges that the hash marks represent. You should be so close to the marked hashes its a non issue. (possibly inside the stadia lines)

Also the link has been reposted by Lumpy so you can view it now.
