Personally, I'd step up to the 96X series light.

ON A 10.5" UPPER, THE 6-VOLT M95X-SERIES HAS ITS PLACE.
BUT ON A 14.5" - 16" UPPER, I LIKE THE 9-VOLT M96X-SERIES TACTICAL LIGHT. FOR AN EXTRA $30 AND TWO OUNCES, YOU GET ALMOST TWICE (!!!) THE LIGHT, 125 LUMENS VS 65 LUMENS. THAT NOT BRIGHT ENOUGH? THEN INSTALL THE HIGH OUTPUT 9-VOLT BULB AND YOU GO UP TO 225 LUMENS! BUT BATTERY LIFE IS CUT TO 20 MINUTES. WES GRANT MSTN.BIZ |

Concur. Go with the 962. I haven't had a single problem with it; thrown in cruisers and rode hard every day. The velcro tape switch thing is cantankerous. Comes off in the Florida heat. MatineTex fixed that. Some guys advocate heat shrink tubing to lock ends to Foregrip.
