I have done the search and see that there really are mixed opinions on this rifle.

My local gun shop has a Professional Ordinance Carbon 15 for $550, a fraction of what you would spend on a new Bushy.

Given the mixed opinions, I would probably steer clear of the $900+ Bushmaster but I was just wondering what everyone thought of picking up a PO for $550.

I already have a Bushmaster M4gery and I love it. I was just thinking of the Carbon 15 as a "secondary" rifle.

Thanks.

Ordinance: A law or regulation, as in a traffic ordinance.
Ordnance: Arms or armament, guns and bombs.

Run away.

That is my opinion after having owned a P.O. Carbon 15. Paid a grand for it, it went back 4 times and never worked correctly, sold it for $650 and was happy to take the loss.

there is a reason they stopped offering their line of carbon15.

hit & miss with the P.O. stuff and more miss if you ask me.

This sucks to hear. I just bought my first one for $650. I haven't even shot it yet.
I live in NYC and all AR15 are banned in NYC, but I am allowed to own one because I am a NYC Police Officer.
I don't even know where to go shoot that damn thing. I just wanted one because our ESU carries them.
Now to hear this, I should have went with the Bush.
