I narrowed down my choice to these two, any opinions pros/cons?

I want to the lowest possible mount, it's to be mounted on a 12 gauge.

What is it to be used for?

The new PA red dot with the dial illumination control is built pretty tough, if you are on a budget.

The MRO would be the better quality option.

While the PA is tough, and I would say it is good for hunting and even home defense use... I use a Trijicon MRO on my HD rifle. For hard use and field conditions... Aimpoint or Trijicon every time. (I don't consider HD "hard use", just a critical duty... The PA can handle any bumps or drops it may see in HD use)

The PA is a tank. However, Trijicon has a better track record.

They're both going to be tough, but think of it like this. Which one has more QC issues...

Sadly the PA.
