Do you guy's feel now that the AWB has gone away the Mfg prices will come down some on factory built weapons

they might charge a little bit less because they don't have to mill off the bayonet lug. Then again threading the barrel and putting on a flash supressor, and the flash supressor itself, costs money, as does a collapsable stock if you get that option. So if anything they might cost a little more, but probably basically the same price.

they will keep the prices of pre-bans the same, and simply go up on the no ban guns--they have no reason to go DOWN; they simply can just charge more for the no ban gusn

I would expect to see the prices on the existing post-ban guns to go down; why would you buy one when preban configurations are available?

Not necessarily......There are still states with AWB's of their own and they still have to buy "post-ban" type parts to comply with their communist local laws. I have seen NO change in prices EXCEPT for high capacity mags. They seem to be cheaper now.

It's all about supply and demand.

I would suspect that demand is high now with lots of folks buying the rifles they've been prevented from buying over the last 10 years. Also, some folks are buying since there is some anxiety with the upcoming election.

If Kerry wins, I expect that rifles and mags will be VERY difficult to come by for a couple of months, but then things will return to normal, and eventually prices should drop IF the congress stays Republican.

Very true, And building grade wood as well...My brother built a 2 car garage w/gabel style roof and workshop recently, we watched the prices of wood and building materials go up 4 times before completion of the project.

And as you say, anything metal is getting expensive, from fencing to perlin is ridiculous.
