I've got some 175gr Match Kings and some 178gr Hornady A Max bullets.  I'll play around with this when I get my rifle back together.  In the meantime, I'm just curious what other folks are using, in terms of bullets/powder.

In my 24" model I use 168 gr bal. tips with 44 gr. R15

Get really tight groups, sub MOA.  Cloverleaf groups common.

Thanks...I'll have to give that a try.  I use a lot of Reloader 7 in my .223s with good results, so maybe the 15 will work good in .308.

180gr matchkings with uniformed meplates, 42.8gr varget, seated to mag length.  43gr for single load.  work the charges, every barrel is different.  i been gettin 1" groups at 200yds, with a 24" barrel.
