Friend has an AR with a permanent fake flash suppressor, what are the costs of having a barrel cut and re-threaded?

I may be already threaded. What brand is it?  ADCO can do the work and is cheaper than a new barrel.

You would be better off buying a used barrel in the configuration you like on the EE and selling the post ban on the same EE.
