Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Pre-ban 6.8spc magazine questions

I live in Massachusetts, and the state does not allow any high-cap mags unless they are Pre-ban. I would like to build a 6.8spc upper for my Pre-ban lower, but I do not want to be limited to only ten rounds, and seeing how the 6.8 mags were never made prior to 1994, I dont see myself being able to pick up a Pre-ban version.

Can USGI 30rd mags be used/converted/modified to allow for the 6.8spc round?

Do I have any options at all?

In my searches I saw something about MSTN having a kit to convert USGI mags to 6.8spc, but I couldn't find any info on it. Does anyone know about it?
