Just picked up a pre ban Eagle at local FFL. Its set up like a Car 15 style. With a very different flash hider,  I don't think it was received as a complete rifle , but re assembled as they came in the 80s or early 90s.. anyone know anything about these... quality and finish looks great .. as both upper and lower look new... are there barrels crome lined? looks to be.. I herd they were built to mil-spec is that true... if anyone has a pic please post.. I am new to the AR collecting and have got bit by the bug.. From days past before the bans i really only bought Colt , hbar, govt carbine, sp1 car-s ... sold those many years ago...thanks for any info
