I've tried searching..I hate the search function I can never get good results if any! Any complete upper mid assemblies you'd guys recommend. On my full length I'll be running the POF 18" upper. I'd like to not have to build this one up piece by piece. Maybe I can save myself some money after dumping over 3K into the other gun. God damn! |

That's awesome! |

eh. I'd be impressed if you have an A1 upper for that middie... |
|
|
+1 and that's not even an A1 profile barrel. Look at all that meat under the FSB! |

LOL, I already have two carbines with A1 uppers, and I had the carry handle in the spare parts box, and found the A3 upper complete fror $85 shipped NIB on sale, so it actually was the cheaper route to go. And in my defense, the handle NEVER comes off, so just hink of it as a 2 part A2 upper receiver! [ETA] yeah, it actually was a RRA chrome lined barrel that was already turned down to the "A1" profile (light infront of FSB and under handguards- yes, I can moutn an M203 in theory!) with 200 rounds down the pipe and I got it on the EE for $140 shipped inlcuding handguards. The upper receiver was on sale for $85 shipped, and most the rest of the pieces I already had. I figured $225 for a chrome lined middy upper wasn't too bad. |

You have never seen any of my pictures with a Larue 7.0. You may be thinking of the Daniel Defense Lite Rail. I've used plenty of other rails, but for my own weapons, they all wear DD. If you are meaning the DD 12.0 Litein the picture, its one we carry The barrel is a SS WOA 16" Midlength The grip is the Magpul MIAD The stock is the Magpul CTR, which is currently in preproduction, and should be released for full production in a few months. |

Yesterday I reconfirmed the zero, then started hitting the gong (approximately 24" in diameter) at 450 yards. First round was a miss as I applied a little too much hold over, but after I adjusted the holder over I hit the gong for the next 19 rounds. Then it was off to do some CQB and transitioning drills. I'm very pleased with the way this project turned out.

hey Derek45,
is that a "fire breathing pig" on the end of your barrel? |
|
Sabre must be selling the hell out of those barrels. I have seen a lot of new middy builds with them, my new middy has one too, and I have another spare waiting for a future build. So I would be curious to see what the total number made so far has been. |
