Hi all

Its been awhile...I took my AR to the range today to sight it in. And at 100 yards the shots kept going high...many over the target. I adjusted the front sight to the point where I was concerned that with anymore counter-clockwise turns to lower the point of impact, the front post was going to come right off.

To compensate, I rotated the elevation wheel -5 clicks from 8/3 and was able to get a repectable group.

The question is "Is there a way to recalibrate the wheel and post  so that I am not at the extreme on the post and -5 instead of 8/3 on the evevation wheel. Is this gunsmith territory or is there a kit?" Or should I just leave it alone?

Thanks
