...that I got the wife for Christmas. Got her Photoshop, too. She was well pleased. Now, let's see if I can manage to post a couple pics....

Now, let's see if this works. I know the background isn't too great, it's just a quick experiment. It's my first time trying to post pics. Keep your fingers crossed!

Your picture posted, but you need to practice with the focus and macro options. Excellent gifts BTW.

Yeah, I know the pics aren't the best in the world. I just threw the AR on the bed and had at it. Oh, well, now I have to practice with it. Great, something else to have to practice with! At least all this thing takes is AA batteries and not 5.56 ammo! Practice is a LOT cheaper!

Those are some nice gifts.  I play around with Pchop all the time.  you can do some crazy stuff with it.  I use it for film editing and making stupid pics.

I did a pic in Pchop for you of your second picture.  I did this in 5 minutes and its 3:30am so I could and can do much better.  But you get the point!

Some of my past creations:

(Rifle was pieced together. I cut out a stock from this pic, rails from this pic, grip here, barrel there, Aimpoint here, etc. and then make them to the same scale)

Nice rifle bub75. Photoshop is a great program, a little complicated for me though. After seeing some of the excellent work done by our resident PS experts, it's definitely something I want to learn how to do. I have PS 7 and PS Elements 2.0 but I can't figure out how to do simple picture editing, or preferably, something more complex like vedubin01, or tivoli410 posted here. That was very nice work guys.

Spend some time reading the section in the manual titled "How to use the focus feature".

I use Pchop 7 and once you understand the layer concept then it goes a lot smoother.

that layering is neat they also have effects plgins but it is expensive.

your right.  IF one thinks the program is costly, try finding custom plug-ins.  The film plug-ins for Premeire Pro is off the chart.  There are some out there for 2k-10k just for the plug-ins.  But you can do almost make the movie spiderman with them but wow, big $$.

Now take that AR and shoot the sap that sold you that quilt!

upgrade is like $169 and the full is $650.  There are some deals around to find it a bit less than that.
