if its an actual or replica a2 stock all parts will be interchangable including the trapdoor.

Ya. Its replace able. I bought the metal door from Bushmasters. Actualy you get a new butt plate and a metal door.

this is what I did, I changed the buffer too

My Colt A2 stock already has a metal door on it. Odd.
