I have been ordering parts since August 5th. The barrel (the holdup) will be delivered tomorrow. I can't wait to test fire it.

Shawn,
Do you have the Bushmaster part number for the buffer handy? - I assume that you are using the Bushmaster modified bolt carrier. That looks like just what I want.

Found the website for it. Very nice, clean lines.

The barrel is an Oly Arms 6.5" stainless steel assembly. I shot 100rds of XM193 with no problems. This thing is alot of fun BTW, the Lo Pro is sweet. It's thicker than a regular receiver, but I didn't notice a difference in weight.

Parts Bushmaster Buffer System:

#AZ15078 -- $7.95 -- Buffer Tube
#AZ15009 -- $16.95 -- Buffer
#AZ15012 -- $2.95 -- Buffer Spring
#AZ15267 -- $75.95 -- Bolt Carrier w/Key installed

Check out Badger Arms post near the bottom of the page in the link below for more info and pictures on the Bushy system.

how do you keep your rear take-down pin in? I do not see a cover plate

I used a 4-40 set screw to hold it in. The hole was tapped to 4-40 and the take-down spring was cut down some. I tried to use a MI rear sling adapter, but the Bushy tube OD was too large.
