I shot an SR25 a few months ago and it was SWEEEEET! I'm sure you'll love it!
Whoa!
Cool. So, since you found your ultimate rifle, you'd be willing to let your lesser 6920 go for around $500 with all accessories, right WIZZO |
I hate you.
Congrats, make sure to give us a range report and some more pictures. |
Even if you add another 4K to the offer to make it a little more realistic the SOCOM M4 isn't going anywhere. I'll be burried with it and the SR25 These two were my end goal for AR base platforms other then Class III stuff. so I'm happy to say the least. |
Wow! I wished you lived closer so you could come over and play!
Nice rifle. I'm very rarely jealous of anything/anyone, but that is NICE! |
What yer plans for the range report? How much ammo you got? are you gonna cry when it gets a scratch or are you gonna use her like a kleenex? |
LOL,.. When I read the Thread title I thought to myself...."Ultimate Rifle? Not unless youve got a .308 in there"
Well I stand corrected.........Very nice |
Man, that's sharp... If it shoots as good as it looks, you got your self something there...
That is one hell of a rifle. I saw one of them bad boys for sale at a gunshow without the scope, bipod etc. for $5000. You must be paying a nice chunk of change for that bad boy.
why is it that on the pictures of military guns the case deflecter(i think that is what it is called having a brain fart) is part of the reciever but on the civi weapons is it s seperate piece that is mounted by using the rail on top?
thanks in advance |
It defnitely wasn't cheap but I did get a great deal considering what it's worth. |
I'm expecting good things |

From an auto loader, that is impressive... |
Well, well, looks like somebody got him some new hardware! Purdy. I expect to see that at the next Virginia Blastfest! Mark your calendar, it'll be sometime in March or April (when it's not so blessed hot!). MJD

I shot a suppressed SR25 in Iraq. It was awesome and it was nice to shoot a 7.62 without hearing protection.

WIZZO Even if you add another 4K to the offer to make it a little more realistic the SOCOM M4 isn't going anywhere. I'll be burried with it and the SR25 . Before you die make sure to let me know where you'll be burried. That rifle is worth the trip to dig you up and take it from your cold dead hands. |
very very nice man. awsome buy im sure its gonna be nice as hell.
LMAO, thanx (I think) |
needs a can my ass, needs to be in my gun safe. You can go ahead and just mail it to me, will make sure it gets all the lovin it needs, would kick my ole lady out of bed for that bad boy.. |
i bought a compleate SR-25 Mark 11 Mod 0 rifle system as shipped to the Navy Seals early this year and i promis you will be happy with the way they shoot. mine will shoot half inch or better all day long and has been 100% reliable with all the ammo i have tried. now i am just playing the waiting game for my suppressor.
congatulations on a realy nice gun. |
Congrats on a sweet rifle. I read the thread title and as I was moving the mouse to click it, I was thinking my ultimate rifle would be a SR25. Sure enough there it was. You have good taste.

Looking forward to seeing it. What glass came w/ yours? |
Leupold 3.5-10x40. i believe this to be the standard optic as shipped to the Navy Seals from Knights.
cool, just doublechecking. I saw some SR-25K pics recently and the glass wasn't the Leupy 3.5-10x40. The rifle was in the issue pelican case so it had me wondering. |
not to worry you got the right one. you might want to check out WWW.SR25.COM as they have a forum over their dedicated to th SR25 and alot of items for these rifles get listed for sale thier. with a little work i am sure you can find the front and rear sight for your rifle and any other items like mags and such you may need.
Can someone put up the Darth Vader pic that says "IMPRESSIVE"? I think that'll fit in this case!
Thanx gorv, lots of good info on that site 5 LE 20rdn mags come w/ it so I should be good to go in that dept. but I am interested in picking up the frt and rear backup sights. Other then that I don't think there's much else I could want/need. Any suggestions? |
no sugestions other than it would be nice to get the right sights for it. only other thing i can think of would be to always look out for good deals on replacement parts for possible repairs as they are not allways easy to get from Knights. just make sure if your buying replacement parts for the bolt that you know if you have the new style or old style bolt.
you can also go to WWW.KNIGHTARMCO.COM and they have a forum where you can ask any questions you may have. MOA is one of the moderaters and also works in the plant in the assembly department so he always has the inside scoop. MOA is the man when it comes to these rifles. i will try get pictures of mine posted soon. |
Yeah, he's researching mine for me now. Very helpful guy. Thanx again for the advice. |
anything i can do to help a fellow shooter is fun for me. my friend with the camera should be coming over later today so stay tuned for pictures.
by the way i have never posted pictures before so if i have trouble i might need to e-mail the pictures to someone who can post them for me. |
I'll PM you my email address, send them to me and I'll host them for you :)
