I want to order a 30mm scope mount for my Bushmaster M4 and I see the mounts can be had in either Weaver or Picatinny .....  Which do I get?  I thought both rail systems would take the same scope mounts.

My mount moved

I put a Burris picatinny mount on my flat top.  I tightened it up as tight as I thought I should but noticed after the first range trip the mount had slid backwards. It has about 1/16" fore & aft movement.

The instructions say to tighten the nut between 65 - 100 inch pounds  Is that excessive?  I can borrow a torque wrench at work if need be.
