Anybody got pictures of a 14.5" barrel with a flash hider bringing it to 16", with a rifle-length float tube / rail?

Is there enough room for a suppressor on there?

Betcha there's one of what your looking for in here, or the older thread: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=201315

JTAC,

That's exactly what I needed to see.  Looks like plenty of room for a 'can over a bilock.

It looks like the rifle MRP foreend is about 0.5" longer than regular fore-ends.  This complicates matters.

With an MRP, you just might be the first:

I have a 16" MRP - from the length that it protrudes from the rifle length chassis I woudl guess that the 14.5 would not work with a can.

As Wes...  He likely has a rifle lenght MRP and a 14.5" bbl lying around

Check out CL Tactical in the gallery section. Chen has a 14.5" rifle length MRP.

I hope Chen doesn't mind the bandwidth theft...

Sure that a 14.5?

Looks a lot like my 16" does (I could be wrong my 16" is several miles away and lonely)

I just got off the phone with Phil @ Gemtech.

I need about 0.30" behind the barrel shoulder to mount a M4-96D.

Even on Chen's, it looks like there's about 3/4th an inch behind the rear of the Vortex.

Kev, it's a 14.5". The 16"ers are just a wee bit longer than that.
