I frequently stop at LaRue Tactical down the road my home.I have regeared with their products
and they are top notch.

I picked up a 7.0 rail last week and with alittle persuasion Mr.LaRue personalized it with
"PROPERTY OF (and my name)"

ARMS #22 Mount to a LaRue M68 Aimpoint Mount

ARMS#19 to a LaRue ACOG Mount

and a LaRue BUIS, 12.0 rail, an SPR-1.5 for my 10x

That black you refer to is anodizing a process in which you chemically blacken aluminum with different chemicals and then a final baking process. This is the only process La Rue doesn't do themselves.........They have switched anodizers and have alleviated this problem.....

interesting, cant wait to see new pics of the new finish.
