I'm getting a pre-ban Colt Sporter and a registered DIAS.  I want to set it up as a 9mm SMG with a DOE upper.  What parts do I need?

why go with a preban?
A machine gun does not have to follow the assualt weapon ban since it is not SEMI-AUTO.
Just make sure that when the DIAS is not in the gun, the gun is not in one peice. IN OTHER WORDS, take the upper off of the lower.

If I was you I would just sell the colt preban.

Hunt you up a nice short barrel setup like what JOEBLACK has.

Was a 16" RRA barrel. Now it's 6"
